Generations Ministry

For Adults 55+

What is Generations?

The foundation of the Generations Ministry is based on the fundamentals of the New Testament Church as recorded in Acts Chapter 2 where we are told, “all believers devoted themselves to the teaching and fellowship, and breaking of bread and prayer. All were together and had everything in common, giving their possession to those in need, meeting together and praising God.  We believe these characteristics exemplify the Generations Ministry as we too enjoy the fellowship, ministering, discipling, evangelizing and the praise and worship as part of our daily walk.

John 4:23-24

Praise/Worship

Celebrate and worship in Spirit and Truth praising God for all He has done through the many arms of the Generations Ministry.

Promote/Fellowship (1 John 1:7)

Promote fellowship opportunities through various  church social events, small groups, tours, etc. across generational lines as we walk in the light of Christ

Provide/Ministry (Matthew 20:26-28)

Be a servant to our family of faith by becoming the hands and feet of Jesus through various ministry arms, providing the touch that enlightens our senior’s daily lives.

Proclaim/Evangelize (Matthew 28:19-20)

Make disciples through outreach, missions and Bible study; teaching  obedience to God’s commands as we reach throughout the world.

Prayer (Mark 11:24)

Engage in the power of prayer through a senior adult network of prayer warriors lifting one another’s requests with great expectations.

Prepare/Discipleship (Colossians 1:28)

Proclaim, admonish and teach everyone through effective discipleship pathways, connect groups and study that we too may present all fully mature in Christ.
