A sure sign that spring is coming: It’s almost time to set your clocks forward an hour for Daylight Savings time. Be sure Saturday night to set your clocks forward so you arrive on time for Sunday morning Connect Groups. You lose an hour that night, but DST promises many months of an extra hour of evening light.
“Praise the Potter” is a one-day community women’s retreat on March 14 from 9am – 3:30pm hosted at St. John Lutheran Church, 4608 Brambleton Ave. Speakers will be Susan Stilwell and Martie Byrd with music worship led by MarLane Knuppel. Information and registration is available at www.radiantroanoke.com. Registration includes lunch. Call Martha Barger at 224-3307 if you have questions.
