F.A.I.T.H. Riders are passionate about sharing the Good News salvation message found in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ with the World.

F.A.I.T.H. Riders are reaching people with their bikes who may not normally step foot into an organized church or Bible study. It’s putting rubber, as well as shoe leather, onto the Gospel message. The F.A.I.T.H. Riders are made up of people from all areas of life, but they have a common interest – enjoyment and enthusiasm for motorcycles, all makes and models. No matter what you ride – or even if you don’t – all are welcome.

Faith Riders of First Baptist Church Roanoke (FBCR) meet the first Monday of each month at FBCR at 6 PM in Phelps Hall, located at First Baptist Church, at 321 Marshal Ave,
Roanoke, VA  24016.
Come join us for a time of prayer, bible study, fellowship, and ministry outreach/benefit rides.

If you have questions, please contact Phil Foster at 540-798-8299 or pf1564@aol.com

SBCV Motorcycle Evangelism Ministry

Patchwork

Patchwork Ministry seeks to share God’s love and concern for orphans as a culture of adoption and regular, dedicated orphan care spread throughout our First Family of Faith.

  • To increase REALIZATION about adoption within our church and community
  • To REACH OUT to orphans and foster children, both locally and globally with God’s love
  • To provide educational RESOURCES to our church family and families within our community
  • To foster RELATIONSHIPS with adoptive, waiting and foster families through prayer and support

As a part of Patchwork, the Pack-a-Sack program provides bags of necessities to children who need emergency foster care. These children often leave their homes with only the clothing they are wearing. The goal of the Pack-a-Sack program is to provide a blanket, PJ’s, Bible, toothbrush, toothpaste and stuffed animal to each child who goes into emergency foster care, hopefully providing them with not only their own things, but a little extra love! We are collecting these items for children ranging from infant to 17.
