Choral Music
At First Baptist we truly believe that music is an important part of the ministry and that it can be a tremendous tool, both for worship and outreach. The purpose of the Celebration Choir is fourfold:
- to glorify God in music
- to encourage and edify the saints
- to sing the message of salvation
- to serve as a true companion to the ministry of the preaching of God's Word
We seek to inspire and lead in worshipping our Lord.There are currently three choirs that meet weekly:
- Classic Worship Choir - Adult Choir - Wednesdays, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Choir Room
- Revelation Choir - Youth Choir - Sundays, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm during the school year.
- Heritage Singers - Senior Choir - Thursday, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Choir Room
