Secret Lifelong Ambition / Desire - To be found faithful in advancing the mission of Christ and live a life that humbly shouts "It's All About Jesus."
How I came to Know the Lord - I It was at the young age of ten that I received Jesus Christ to be the rescuer and leader of my life. Years later at the age of 18, while serving as a camp counselor at the Master's Inn, a Christian conference center in Lynchburg, VA, I surrendered to God's desire for me to enter into the full-time ministry of proclaiming the great news of Jesus Christ.
How I got Here - I am a graduate of Northside High School here in Roanoke, and hold a Bachelor degree in Religion (with an emphasis in Youth Ministry) from Liberty University. I also hold a Masters Degree in counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. While at Liberty University I served as the youth pastor to Fincastle Baptist Church in Fincastle, VA. While in seminary I served as the youth pastor to Bethesda Baptist Church in Durham, NC. Upon graduating from Seminary in May of 2002 God called my family back home to Roanoke to serve here at First Baptist Church.
Ministry Area Dream - My desire for God's youth ministry here at FBC is to reach others for Christ's Kingdom and be obedient to the Great Commission found in Acts 1:8.
